Major retailers like Target, Walmart, and Staples will plan back-to-school sales around these tax holidays, so if you can wait to shop for school supplies you can get a double dose of savings. This year, 17 states are offering parents a little help with back-to-school tax-free weekends! All the states on this list are offering a reprieve from sales taxes during the back-to-school shopping season, joining 5 other states that never collect any sales tax.
